Adoption of E.N Central and Congress Updates

I want to thank all of the great people down in We The People for their support in our Congress Primaries. We came nowhere near the amount of votes aimed for, 38 out of 260. Only 15% of the way, in fact.

Did we achieve the goal, however? Yes.

I set my goal unrealistically high to give the base that believed in this way of playing a reason to stand up. I’d like to thank all those who answered my call, despite it being given rather late into the elections. As much as I’d like to thank all those who voted for me personally, that’s impossible given our anonymous voting system. What I can do is thank those ones who answered my message, personally.

I’m happy to see I got such great responses, considering how few I messaged. I sent a personally written message to each member of the base I PMed; Hence, it was impossible to message the whole party given when we started our push.

Next time around I’m hoping to message more and more We The People-ers and continue to get more great responses.

I must also thank one of our newer members, Pillbox Pixel, for going out of his way to shout my article. Proud to have such a new player so involved for the message.

Congratulations to all other Congressmen who were elected as well. I’m sure we’ll make for a most productive session.


Thank-yous and Happy Holidays aside, it is time to begin my mandate as a Congressman.

Firstly, I have completed the sign in. I’m now contemplating where to give my 5 gold. Government Departments and various Military Units will of course be looked at before I see where it could make the most impact.

Second, I’ve made note to the current Congress that we’re rather close to the point where gold can be issued for money. On this, I have views as hard as the situation is old. Neverless, I’ve raised note to Congress and am patiently awaiting input from the Economics Council and my fellow Congressmen. So far an EC rep has notified Congress that EC discussion has started as to what to recommend while the EC Chairman has made known his disagreement with issuing money, not giving explanation yet. I patiently await what our qualified EC team has for us.

Third, a Congress Citizen’s Award medal has been proposed by my fellow We The People Congressman, Franklin Stone, for two revered media greats. I encourage you to check the thread out, though it may soon be edited a bit to allow better discussion. Good work Drew.

What's nice is that this has now led to further discussion on how we want to organize this relatively young award. I'm making sure to follow this and comment closely. The CCA is a great tool for historical recording, player unity and inspiration for our playerbase. Just as any award should be, ingame or otherwise.

Thanks to all Congressmen who are helping to mold this wonderful discussion.


Originally, I promised to “adopt” a state. That is to say, generate activity and communicate with people who are based in a certain region. Now, no one eAmerican region that can be taken is truly large enough to take for what I intend to do. So, I am taking a region.







The region I am adopting is E.N Central. For those not currently residing in E.N Central’s boundaries who wish to be part of my Congress experience, I encourage you to move there till the 27th at around 20:00 erep time. I’ll be getting the final list of “constituents” then.

For those current in E.N Central, congratulations. There is no escape. Prepare to be Congressed the f**k outta.
