[GOV] November Primary Results

Day 2,539, 11:44 Published in Austria Austria by BundesPresseDienst

After 24 hours of voting, the results of the non-binding straw poll are in. As a reminder, this result is in no way official - it is just intended to hopefully bring some more people into the process, and also provide some entertainment along the way.

Below, I will give the results from each party, as well as a combined total that takes the votes of the OIP, ASM, ACP, ATTDP, NF, ARP, TPM, and No Party (Coalition Total).

Finally stepping into the long requested role of presidential candidate, wschwabe proved extremely popular in his first polling. Over 91% supported him in the race, one of the largest margins of support for any contested race in the primaries thus far.

With the introduction of all nominated candidates, wschwabe still maintains an overwhelming lead of over 71%. hippie007 came in second place, with 14.2%, Drexler6020 came in third with nearly 9%, and Martinus_1 in fourth with nearly 6%. This is a stronger than usual performance for a candidate in the "first choice" poll - and appears to be the largest lead any candidate has ever had in this secondary polling measure.

On the question of second choice, hippie007 builds on his second place finish in the previous question, to take a plurality of votes here for 45.7%. Drexler6020 came in second place, for 22.87%. Martinus_1 came in third place with 17.1%. The votes are fairly well split in this question, indicating a "strong reserve" of potential future candidates in races to come.

Thanks again for participating in this primary!
