[eSLO info] Hungary - Pragmatic partnership

Day 2,326, 14:15 Published in Slovenia Serbia by Vlada Republike Slovenije

Since writing the article about Serbia, I had a kind of bad feeling for praising only Serbia, despite the fact that there was another bright star in all our historically important battles - our neighbour and our reliable brother Hungary. Because the battles that have bound us to Hungary are already described in the article about Serbia, let me copy-paste just two excerpts from our common history:

“In the beginning of 2010 the Croats wiped us out in the New Year’s action, while our CP was partying . After we were occupied, Serbs and Hungarians immediately came to the rescue and helped liberate most of our regions.

… we have under Don Kronox and SmothZiga twice more wiped out Croatia with the help of Hungary, Serbia and our other friends.”

So we see that Hungary, Serbia and Slovenia have always fought together against common enemy. And that is exactly what has connected us, as described by Stannis Mannis:

“As I remember, we (Hungary, Slovenia and Serbia) were together in the PEACE alliance and we had some really exceptional battles, which have connected us. Together we were controlling central Europe and it has always been our interest to prevent everybody from conquering our core regions. This attitude continued from alliance to alliance. We had common enemies, which had to be kept on a leash (Poland, Croatia, Spain, Romania, USA…). Each of us had his own worst enemy and we helped each other in our wars: Slovenia against Croatia, Hungary against Romania. Historical circumstances have made us cooperate and this pragmatic cooperation never ended, because enemies always threatened us from all sides.”

In the last couple of weeks, during wars against Ireland and Croatia, I have been following Hungarian actions. I’ve seen Hungaria helping us in our battles, fighting on our side, and even after leaving Asteria, still taking part in Asteria’s plans.

I’ve seen that they are brave and strong, but I have found that they have another quality which emerged while they were leaving Asteria.

In Asteria Hungarians clearly stated what they don’t like and what would they do if the situation didn’t change - and they kept their promise! After leaving Asteria, they were still prepared to talk and cooperate, they stated upfront what they are and what they aren’t prepared to do, they never broke their word, they always kept their promises. So, besides being brave and strong, I see them as proud, reliable and honorable soldiers. All those qualities make them a nation which, I’m sure, everyone would love to have as a partner. To put it shortly:

Hungary - RESPECT!

Dear Hungarians - we are proud of our long relationship and we hope that our brotherhood will never end.

Hail Hungary!
Hail Slovenia!
Hail Serbia!
