I swear that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to His Majesty Rylde the First, his heirs and successors according to law. So help me God.

In the previous election, I was elected as a Member of Congress to serve the people of Canada with full ability to propose amendments, laws and grant citizenship. Only hours later that was all revoked by a government supported uprising. Today I serve our Dictator, Rylde.

I have always wanted such a mechanism in the game, I just never expected it to be executed so poorly by the admins. Sure, I knew these developers were idiots and the game is practically designed to separate the money from your wallet, but I never thought they would eliminate the only mechanism in the game that isn't pay to win. Military Units are the new political parties, they hold the power to manipulate politics and hijack countries, even the ability to take over countries in which their player base is not located.

I agree it would be idiotic to not surrender our democracy to Rylde because of the lingering PTO threat that this game update has created, although surrendering the ability for congress to complete any task or make any impact has taken a portion of the game I enjoy.

This update has greatly impacted our community, putting it at almost a complete standstill. Canada has always had one of the best media modules and best articles available until now. There is no political events or motives to write about. No individual without a deep wallet can make a difference anymore. This update has killed our media, has driven many of our player base away.

Just to make things worst, my favourite part of the month is always the presidential election. The campaign is always awesome to watch, trolling and comment attacks are at their peak. This is what makes the game what it is for me. This previous month was pathetic, I barely knew who ran other than Muglack and not until today did I learn that Quentin, a hardworking french Canadian won. Its unfortunate he has more power being Party President than being the nation's President.




Rylde's new government has some features I'd like to tackle, being elected a congress member was merely symbolic. I am now seeking the party leadership of the Beaver Action League so I get a chair and a vote on Rylde's council. I will do so to promote more community involvement on behalf of the wallet warriors who seek fun in this game by alternative means.

I am not seeking leadership for this reason only. I wish to grow our party and push it forward so when the day comes that we get our democracy back, we can do great things.
