[DoEE] Cabinet Positions

G'day Australia,



Long time no see Australia. Let's get right to the point. Today's article is covering the duties of the cabinet positions. I'll keep it brief so don't go falling asleep on me.

Country President (CP)
The CP is the commander and chief. Under rules, the CP is also the dictator. The CP is publically elected and appoints the rest of the cabinet positions. Obviously, the CP holds a lot of power and his/her cabinet can influence or be influenced by local politics. The CP is the face of the nation and should be held to the highest standard.

Prime Minister / Vice Country President (vCP)
The vCP is the CP's right hand. The vCP is to help alleviate the CP's duties when possible and when the CP is away take action. The vCP position holds the most political weight out of any cabinet position besides CP. CP's can use the vCP position to bridge political divides or to gain political favor. In many cases, it is wise to appoint a vCP who is in another timezone so that way presidential power can be used at any hour.

Minister of Foreign Affairs (MoFA)
As the name implies, MoFA is in charge of everything that is international relations. MoFA's are responsible for keeping contact with other country governments. The Department of Foreign Affairs must act like a Swiss army knife in the sense they must broker any deal between countries ranging from region rental to training wars. The MoFA also is an active member in our alliance NEBULA.

Minister of Defense (MoD)
The MoD's responsibilities are to set Australia's daily orders, ensure the safety of Australia from outside attacks, and to advise the CP in military affairs. The MoD is also a vital part of the NEBULA alliance as well.

Minister of Finance (MoF) 
The MoF formulates the budget for eAus to ensure that we can pay for MPP's and wars if need be. Other programs such as JDS or the ADF are sometimes financially assisted by the government. 

Minister of Education and Entertainment (MoEE)
The MoEE is in charge of keeping the public informed and to educate new players. The MoEE must write articles to accomplish these goals. This article is a great example of said articles.

Many cabinet positions have deputies which are members of cabinet who serve their respective ministers. Deputies are often required by the more work intensive departments such as DoEE and DoFA.


Speaking of deputies, if you are interested in being a part of the community and government, I am seeking a Deputy Minister of Education and Entertainment or dMoEE.
