Day 2,617, 19:04 Published in USA USA by Department of Citizen Affairs

This article brought to you by the Department of Education explains the dynamics around houses.

Houses have been a part of the game since Day 2492. They are a means for citizens to increase their recoverable energy. A few guides have been about houses, this one by former Treasury Secretary what4 explains why owning a q1 house is profitable.

So far there are five houses on the market, which have the following characteristics:

Q1: 7 days, +50 energy bonus
Q2: 7 days, +80 energy bonus
Q3: 7 days, +100 energy bonus
Q4: 7 days, +150 energy bonus
Q5: 7 days, +200 energy bonus

These characteristics reflect the fact that a house can be used for a maximum of 7 days or 168 hours. One of the beauties about houses is that they need to be activated from your storage when you want to use it and can also be deactivated when they are not needed. This implies that you can manage one house over a period of time for maximum effect. Different quality houses over different recoverable energy bonuses.

Another important characteristic of houses is the fact that you can have different quality houses activated at the same time. While you cannot activate 2 q1 houses to be used at the same time to increase energy bonus, you can activate a q1, q2, q3, q4 and q5 house at the same time, leading to a potential for 580 additional recoverable energy.

Houses also over you the ability to earn overtime points. Using a house for one hour allows you to earn one overtime point. Using five houses at the same time for one hour will allow you to earn 5 overtime points. 24 overtime points can be used to work for one day. This is part of the reason why owning a q1 house can be profitable.

The Verdict:

Houses are an important part of the game an offer quite a lot to players who need extra energy. Owning a q1 house is recommended for all players who earn enough wages in a week to buy a house.
