[DoD] Mid-term Update

Citizens of the Republic,
In this article I will be outlining what this department has done so far this term and what we hope to introduce throughout the remaining two weeks of the month.
Whats Been Done:
1) So far this department has been releasing daily orders via this newspaper. Orders have not been published daily but are being published regularly enough to keep the general population informed of where to fight.
2) I have also asked to be promoted to 2nd Commander within the Irish Army where I have now been updating the Daily Order accordingly during the morning and afternoon due to time differences that restrict the time Ian E Coleman has access to eRepublik.
3) We have held two National Strikes so far this month, both were in aid of our ally, Macedonia. We had a great turnout for the first strike however numbers were lower for the second strike. We plan on keeping the momentum we've built and will be holding strikes regularly on a Sunday.
4) In co-ordination with the Minister of Finance, Nogin the Nog, we have paid off the Irish Army debt to our commune holder. We will be working to try reduce our expenses and maximise our efficiency on the production line as well as the battlefield.
What's There To Do:
1) We plan on holding another National Strike this Sunday for all Irish citizens. We will be working on informing as many citizens as possible as we wish for this one to be our biggest National Strike in recent times.
2) The Department of Defence hopes to reintroduce the Éire Mass Messaging System so we can send all orders and updates directly to each and every citizen. We hope to have this up and running by this weekend.

Who is that mysterious holder and how much irish money you talk about?
As we all know this...holders...got every factory and companies paid with government money and they get extra irish golds for upgrades and personal training.....so what bloody debt?

Not much...me leaving the game and with help of The Silence leaving a little present for you orcs that will sore your gameplay and erase everything you gained through theft.

So you are that mysterious "holder".
You know...i just came to Ireland when it was announced you got government golds to upgrade all of your factories and companies since you were only custodian of property of irish government.
But it seems over time from only a custodian you became a full and private owner of all of this companies...
No wonder you so scared of any transparency of irish money as CLerics demands.....thief....
Well it is a bit difficult for the state to own companies as gameplay does not allow it. So in any situation "state" assets will be held by individuals.
Individuals who use state property for their own benefits...
That is theft, corruption and plain treason.
I am sure Colby you will join me in demand those individuals publish their own report about with full data about how irish property has been used...
James, Nogin, Sweet, Seanan are one of known indiviuals.
Surely if they refuse to publish report they will prove to be thiefs...
OK Kurgan. Let me play Devil's Advocate here for a second.
You think, James, Nogin, Sweet, and Seanan along with others are secretly stealing public money from public accounts and using state companies to fulfill their own military needs as well as those of their friends. You consider this theft. Am i right so far?
So you would like them to publish reports documenting the running of state companies and where all our state money is invested and which accounts it is in as well as the totals of how much money we have and how much was spent as well as where it went. Right?
IF, and I say IF because I don't think it is true, they are thieves then why would they publish actual reports with the correct amounts? If they are thieves then surely lying would not be something they would be opposed to.
I think the fact that they do not publish the totals of our accounts goes more towards proving they are NOT thieves then that they are. If they were thieves they would just lie and publish what you want to read and that would be the end of it. By not publishing and giving away the actual totals that we have they are proving the money is there and that they don't want anyone to know the correct amount for the security reasons stated multiple times.
Or maybe they just want to mess with you.
Either way I trust all of those people.
