My fellow eAmericans,
When a void is created in the absence of greatness, someone must fill this void. Today we learned that Artela has decided not to run for POTUS this term, calling upon the top 5 to have a true race. To forge our own path.
Today I throw my hat into the ring. I've been in and out of eRepublik for nearly four years. I've spent most of my time in the military, starting way back when the eUS mil was still the official US military. As I've started to get into politics in recent month, I've been committed to my views and have not backed down on the things I believe in.
I've never been quiet about my views about how our country should run. Not to say that I don't welcome input from others. I welcome, even encourage, cooperation, discussion. Politicking for the sake of politicking is the reason we have frequently pushed new players away instead of getting them involved. That can't continue in a game that sucks enough already.
Give me a chance to help make our country better for all players, new and old. Let's work together to improve every facet of our eLives.
Oh, and a vote for DMJ is a vote for Strippers and Cocaine. For Everyone. You heard me.

Best of luck with your candidacy; though it is unlikely I will support you in your bid for PotUS I encourage you to change my mind if you are able.
In the meantime hopefully three additional candidates will throw their hats into the ring this month to create a 5-way election on the 5th.
I'm more than willing to answer any questions you might have.
I will be pondering policy questions for all candidates over the upcoming holiday; in the meantime I strongly advocate cabinet assembly as it is a worthwhile gauge of a candidate's credibility.

Cabinet members are supposed to be members of the community who are respected by the candidate by whom they were selected to serve.

National enemies, most wanted, terrorist, mental patients, and convicted felons can't run for presidency RGR just give up on your dream of being president.

President isn't capitalized unless it comes before the name of a specific president (like President Obama), or is at the beginning of a sentence (like this one) or is the name of someone (my name is Steven President Wilson, yes my middle name is President).

IF you are Ajay surely you remember v1's ad module...
During that election I mis-clicked on the run for PotUS button within the party page (still there but back then parties had gold to run ads with which were displayed along the right on the homepage in good ole v1)
You (if you are in-fact the Ajay of v1) on the other hand lambasted the eAmerican community with a bewildering bevy of ad's to support your candidacy.

I thought you meant I hacked the ad module.. oh of course. I LOVED those ads. That was the BEST thing eRep ever did. Taking out that module was like chopping off your dominant hand. Game was never as good after that.
and Weapon, it makes me sad that new players like you get sucked in to the lies of the ruling powers that be 🙁
The customization options were epic for the ad module; from the entire eWorld right down to a specific state or political party. The only issue was uploading an icon was abused and was rightfully removed.
Had the v2 fiasco-caused mgmt buyout not occurred the original admin might've left the core functionality while removing only the .gif portion instead of the entire module.
The ads I usually ran were to direct damage by advertising important battles with the 'tech battle alert' using the ingame battle icons.
I think my ads were pretty awesome. They are what established my international notoriety. 😛 Just jelly yours weren't as creative eh?

I do apologize for the brevity. My wife is currently in labor with our first child and I wasn't planning to run for a couple more months. More info will definitely be forthcoming.
