[DMJ4POTUS] Where do we go from here?

Mood Music: Don't fake it baby, lay the real thing on me

It’s been a long couple of weeks of campaigning. When I learned the Melissa was also running this month, I knew it would be a tough fight to the Whitehouse. We are both long time members of the community. We have similar cabinets in many positions. Some of our policy ideas are the same. It can be difficult to say where the differences are. For Gnilraps, apparently the difference for him is that Melissa is a woman and I’m not. I suppose everyone needs their reasons.

In my announcement article, I mentioned that I want to focus on transparency in the White House through things like my weekly State of the Union articles and more descriptive Press Briefings like the ones I introduced during my first terms as President back in the day.

Next up was my team and plan for the domestic departments like new events and activities and a continued focus on an executive media presence. I also mentioned that I’m bringing back Avruch to keep our Defense Department working toward clear goals in the transitional period with Oblige taking over USAF a couple days ago.

The rest of my cabinet and the foreign affairs side of things were addressed next. Like Melissa, I’m bringing in a stable hand for Foreign Affairs in Wild Owl. The difference here is that while Melissa was involved in our acquisition of Iranian money being held in a long lost government org, I have a history of working with other countries in constructive ways. While President, I arranged our rental of Cuban resources to fill our weapon bonus and averted continuing war with a French whale through diplomatic means. I don’t just talk about treating our allies and neutral countries right, I do it.

My most recent article was about the state of the political climate in the eUS right now. The time for bureaucratic appointees and half-measures are over. We’ve seen what blacklisting and censuring has gotten us and it’s not promising for moving forward. I suggest an alternative path. We need a common goal as a country. We need to sit down as equals and find a unified path to success. We can all have fun in the this game by finding a common ground and a common course.

I’m asking for the eUS to stand with me this April and let me help us get out of this funk. When you open your ballot on the 5th, click on dmjohnston.

Dio bless you, and Dio bless the eUnited States of America.
