Join the new world

To say that we currently live in dark times in this game is an understatement. This has probably been the worst month of gameplay ever for our nation and we've had some bad times in the last 5 and a half years I've been playing.

I've accomplished my erepublik dream of being a dictator and it hasn't even been that fun. Maybe it was about the journey that was more fun. I will admit I still don't miss congress and its nice to get sh*t done when I want to.

This Dictatorship is for national defence but during peacetime with politics dead its very boring for everyone. I'm sure many of you miss the daily verbal garbage that is thrown back and forth. I can only try to make things more entertaining and I'm working on it.



Avalon

We have officially joined an alliance with Ireland and the United Kingdom for mutual defence from outside invasion, including Coups and Dictatorship liberations of our nations.

We had our first alliance meeting today and the two main issues discussed were getting our armies more IRC active for tactical hitting and military targets for a possible 3 way Airstrike. Be honest nothing like introducing a new alliance by airstriking some poor bastard x3. We'll be discussing targets during the next week so there is entertainment coming down the pipe.

Ours and UKs Airstrikes are ready to rock and roll while Ireland has assured me there's can be filled up on a moments notice.

I'll be organizing timed supplied IRC strikes in the coming week to start getting the rust shakin off our active soldiers. Maybe its a fools errand trying to bring back some IRC activity but I can try. MoD article to be released soon.

Politics

The council of eleven has voted to give the top 5 political presidents 2000cc for there jobs on a one month trial. Its always been a thankless job and they do promote activity within the nation and should be rewarded. A motion will be set in motion to take 10k cc from the nations coffers.

I advise all parties run there congressionals as normal as our Dictatorship could end at any time and we will be unable to preserve it due to the cost necessary. Therefore we need to have a congress in place and ready to act as it has in the past. For good or ill, most likely ill.

Taxes

I feel for our activity and population size taxes are at an appropriate level. We won't be relying on them anytime soon to wage a real war or defence without private donations and investments.

They are easily covering 10 MPP's that I have chosen. The Japan MPP was privately paid for as well as the Australian MPP that will be coming shortly. Take into account that come April first we will again have access to two more of our territories that Iran currently holds. This will give us a boost of around 1500 more cc per day. Unless of course they wish to rent them as well as pay back our taxes.

CP

If it was noticed the determination for liberating a country gets extremely high fast as was soon with France and Slovenia. Somewhere around 1.5 after just over a week. So I expect ours to be pretty damn high after only 3 weeks.

To reflect that I'd like to carry on leading outside of a Dictatorship I'll be running for CP april 5th. The odds of me being overthrown just comes down to the matter of the money and if someone has it to remove me. It will be way to costly in terms of tanking and CO's to stop a push if it comes.



War Machine

War Machine is off to a decent start but unlike times in the past spots aren't disapprearing as quickly. I will try one more time to sell to Canadians and after that perhaps ask our new allies since they will be a huge part of a coming war.

I expect we will have war in the next week and our taxes aren't going to bankroll a war this is an important endeavor.

There will be 100 spots for sale at a cost of 2000cc. Each spot will be worth 1 vote and there is no maximum amount of spots you can buy. After all are sold the group as a whole will come up with 5 war scenario's that will be voted upon.
