[DCCP] eUK STRONK!

Hello eUK

What a month it's been for you guys. First you blindly elect what some people call 'nothing but a troll' as your CP, then you stick the boot into those that have been trying to mess with our internal politics. After that we had to endure one the most aggressive months the eUK has seen, with an Alliance backed AirStrike and 5 Natural Enemies upon our rainy, windswept rock, many thought that a Wayne term would consist of a wipe! I imagine certain groups, both inside and outside the eUK were rubbing their hands together with glee at that prospect.







Instead, we batted away the Israeli/LETO AirStrike and flipped each NE to our advantage, wiping France, Norway and Sweden (with the help of our German brothers). That's right eUK, for the first time in our history a AirStrike and multiple NE's didn't result in a wipe! Sniff the air, that's the smell of freedom, folks!

Everyone that participated, from our native eUKers, our allies and even the Combat Order Hunters, we thank you. After a few months of bitter fighting inside the eUK, with certain groups leaving, certain groups arriving (and eventually leaving again), it's been a pretty turbulent time here in Blightly.

Winning these wars has been a nice distraction.

There has been a lot of lies and paranoia going around about these wars. As normal the bullies that are our neighbours have issued various reason for the latest attempt at 'Gang banging' us. So I'll clear it up for you.

LETO/Canada/Israel

Apparently, according to the Canadian CP the reasons for LETO taking action against us was to 'defend Australia'. Yes folks, I shit you not... hands up how many eUKers even knew our convict cousins were in the area?

... yeah, that's what I thought. Not many of you.

I can categorically state that the eUK never had any intention of attacking Australia (neither Saiwun or Dr Hugh are CP, so whats the point?). I didn't even know they were in the region until AFTER the 'gang bang' had begun. Due to Plato's god awful new map, Australia are located in a part of the map no sane person would ever scroll up to! So either LETO are paranoid or just stupid...

Canada have recently voted through a No Natural Enemy proposal with the aim of proposing peace. I leave it up to members of the eUK and Congress to decide what our next move will be.

AssGuard

Ah Norway. As many of you are already aware the eUK recently engaged in a spot of button clicking against Norway with the sole intention of having a NE battle open so we could do our missions. Like Norway, we wanted it over with as quickly as we could.

Now from what I understand, the Norgie CP thought that we would be ding donging border regions for the 7 days it takes for the NE to 'wear off' and then peace would be proposed. Now there is 2 problems with this, Norway are about as strong as a 26 man eUK MU named Dental Corps and the only border region we have with Norway is Scotland. The region that connects our capital to our bonuses. That's without mentioning the massive amounts of our currency they would get due to our borked wage average at the time... that was never gonna happen. Instead, we set about wiping them in 4 days and then returning the regions via RW after closing the NE.

Simple, quick, effective.

Norway and AssGuard, I assume panicked and Norway re-NE'd us, effectively prolonging the war if their intentions all along had been to propose peace after 7 days. Yet it was eUK that went back on a deal... Scando logic at it's finest! With no word from Norway on why they had done this eUK assumed it to be an hostile act and the rest they say, is history.

France

Francey, France, France, France! France are just France, they recently left LETO but are still in the sphere of Assteria, so I can't see us becoming best of friends just yet. What I can say is, if they stop NEing us, we'll stop NEing them and as long as they can work out a deal with Poland and Chile, I'm happy to allow them to live on our borders.

Other stuff...

Admin are still dragging their heels with regards to our orgs. We have the emails ready to go, all we are waiting for is a lazy admin to pull his finger out and reset them. I can't see it happening before the 6th, so I'll have to leave it for the next CP.

We've had a damn fun month eUK. Let's carry this forward into the next term.
