[DCCP] 100k Gone Missing!

Day 2,454, 03:49 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by WayneKerr

Not really, but now that I have your attention...

Dear eUK

Enjoy your 20% Fruit bonus! According to Talon I'm the first CP since him to take Picardy. No idea if that is true, but I'll take the accolade.

The Wayne Bandwagon starts to roll out...

Empire Missions

As those that had been paying attention may have noticed, France managed to RW back a border region, any eUKer that has been playing for a while understands what that normally means for us. For those new to the eUK, it normally means they are about to NE us. I did get in touch with the French MoFA about it, but I wasn't even given the respect of being acknowledged by either the CP or the MoFA.

The original plan was to have a war with Norway, this would have given both our nations the chance to complete these crappy 'Empire missions' that Plato has kindly bestowed upon us. But with France sitting on our borders and Congress dilly-dallying over pressing the NE button, I made the decision to NE France before they NE'd us, making our simple TW a tad more dangerous.

Yes Josh, you are!

With France only having one region that bordered us the war is now closed. 8 battles with France was never gonna be no where near enough for us to get the most out of these missions. I did ask the Norwegian CP to NE us yesterday afternoon so that we could have battles earlier today. Unfortunately, he's not the most active of people (or he's ignoring me) and didn't get back in touch with me until late last night. He then had to speak to his Congress who had reservations about it due to trust issues. Fair enough, we have spent the last year or so in a state of war. By the time the France battle had ended I still had no word from the Norgie CP and no NE from them, so once again took matters into my own hands and raced Congress to press the button. I won!

Now these battles with Norway are for the missions only, personally I'm not all that interested in long term occupation. I'd rather we both had our pre-NE regions by the end of the missions. So there is no need to go mad in these battles. Our first priority should be always on the French RW and making sure we don't lose that while we are trying to close the Norgie war. RWing our regions back from Norway is easier and cheaper then France. So lets try not to lose Picardy, plus it's a fruit bonus region!

The Missing Orgs

You may have noticed that at the moment we only have access to 2 Country Orgs. the Bank of England and the MoD org. That is because we have no idea where the emails or the passwords for the rest currently are. The emails and passwords we have do not provide access. It's a bloody big mess!

But fear not eUK, in a few days we shall have new emails and new passwords for every single org that the country holds. Meaning for the first time since Emergy stepped down as MoF, we know exactly who holds what. Hopefully soon (when admin pull their fingers out) we can start handing them back out to the MU's and private organisations.

MPP's

We have a few MPP's running out soon. Most notably Chile, we won't be resigning the MPP with Chile right away. Due to them trying to launch an AirStrike and the number of MPP's is added into the cost of launching they have requested that we do not sign at this moment in time. No doubt there will be a mad dash for Chile to resign MPP's once they launch. We wish our Chilean friends good luck in this endeavour and any eUKers wising to contribute can do so here.

The MoFA team will be spending the next week getting in touch and going through the formalities with the rest of our allies whose MPP's are close to running out. I imagine and hope Congress will be having discussions, seeing as they are the ones who say yay or nay to them. According to the MoF, we should make enough cash this month to enable us to carry on with the MPP stack we currently have. So yeah up to Congress really.

That's about it really, I still haven't stolen anything and the sky has yet to fall upon us... plenty of time for that though.
