[Dart-Comics] - Which Style Reigns Supreme?

Hello my children.
It's been a while since we've talked comics. As many of you may know I haven't posted one for a long time. The truth is, I don't have much of a drive to keep doing them lately (HINT: It has to do with this game getting uninteresting by the second).
I've decided that I will be continuing with my comics elsewhere - however they won't be comics but will involve the drawings. (If you want to know more send me a PM).
The trouble I am having is that I don't know what style to go with: the old school style where the pictures weren't detailed and we very simple, or the new style where things looked completely different and had more detail (facial expressions and fingers for example).
I thought I would get everyone's opinion to help me with my decision moving forward with my little side-project coming up. I've put together a bunch of pictures comparing the new style against the old style. Give them a look through and please let me know which you prefer and why.

Old. Seems funnier somehow.
Old seems to have something the new ones are missing, a simplicity that makes you smile just by looking at the pictures.
I would go with old.
BTW Where is Larni? 😛 I feel so neglected....

Old style just has a bit more character in almost all of them, except Henry 8th and Majester.
I think do both, for each scene you have make the main character of that scene new style and all background characters old style, win win \o/
There is something with the old style that really captures some characters. For example, Majester and Papa Grimstones (with his oversized mask) look really great in old style - almost perfected.
The Dear Father, Brofessor and Fredrok (RAWWWWR!!!) looks so much more awesome in the new style imo. With that said I would go for the new style. However, you could use both of them - maybe the old ones in flashbacks (if you ever intend to do flashbacks)?
Big question. What does Bruce look like in the new style? There MUST be a dropbear in your comics - even if you bring them outside this game ; )

Easily ... OLD style all the way. Simple and iconic with a unique art style... leaves a definite impression, and has all the hallmarks of being a popular real life comic series with toys and merchandise et al : D
Remember, simplest is the best and has great brand recognition : )

I liked the new when they come out, it was fresh. But now when I see them side by side... old ones are much more authentic.

AHH! They are both awesome, but I could adjust to the new style in time. I guess we've grown attached to the old ones, but I think the new ones will start something fresh and invigorating that we can all love 🙂

I like the old style, it means that the story will be the focus not the animations.
