It's been a couple of days since the Presidential election and it’s time to follow up with everyone regarding the progress being made and the initiatives undertaken in the Executive government.

Shaking many hands

The first couple of days have been meeting and greeting with Foreign Affairs Ministers, Presidents of many other countries, diplomats and mercenaries. Canada has a lot of friends in the international community.

I am also happy to report my Cabinet is also currently underway several projects.

The Ambassador Corps

Ardikus V2, Minister of Foreign Affairs hit the ground running with the revival of the Ambassador Corps program.

Mentorship Program

Sabzii, Minister of Education has already posted a guide for new players and started a Mentorship Program. This is a simple program to pair new players with players that wish to mentor. Uptake has been good and I look forward to seeing further results.

This program does not by far replace the Boomer’s Academy nor is it meant as an affront to Homer's outstanding work with the Boomer's academy. This program attempts to retain players that the Boomer’s academy may have missed, such as a net behind a net.

Also, I’d like to add my thanks for Sabzii for taking the first scandal of my administration. Hardly anyone noticed my indiscretions with the wife of the Polish President. Or her sister… or her great aunt. Thumbs up for taking one for the team Sabzii and you didn’t even need to steal the entire eCanada treasury to do it.

Defending Turkey

Although we didn’t win defending Turkey from Poland, klop123 our Minister of Defence was still on the ball that day and deserves an acknowledgement for rallying the troops.

In progress

We are working on getting Canada a trust worthy and responsible Comptroller that won’t rob us blind and currently isn’t on a 10 day cruise while I shovel my sidewalk in a -23 windchill. The spice MU funding must flow and is a priority.

The Presidents and Minister's of Foreign Affairs of all the EDEN countries are being contacted to compile a report on their interest in eCanada joining EDEN.

For those looking to blow something up, a training war is in the works.

That’s just fantastic…

On a personal note, receiving 40+ messages a day really highlights the message system in eRepublik. The way your messages fly to the front of a ten page deep series of messages when you reply to them so you have no way of really keeping track of them with any consistency. Brilliant! Folders or an organizational system of any kind would only save me time and why would I need that.

Thankfully I just happen to have this ouija board under my desk to help me locate messages I've misplaced. Sure it runs off the souls of the damned and I may have accidentally opened up a small gate way to hell, but we will plug that up later. Not sure with what yet. Probably something fluffy and cute.

It's not so much a gate but a mouth really. Looks hungry.
