I fell in love with eRepublik's original economy. You have to laugh at what's left if you don't want to cry. But someone recently showed me a game that rescued the awesome ideas that eRepublik started with. Let me know if you're interested.

I completely agree Greystrand; when I began near the tail-end of v1 entrepreneurial efforts could only sustain themselves by being incredibly efficient and diligent regarding their Companies.

The introduction of land and 'work as manager' entirely derailed that working eEconomy by ruining its equilibrium by letting land-barons flood the marketplace with their self-produced products which have virtually 0 labor-cost associated with them. Communes merely exaspirate this deflationary pressure.
