[BOK] CP Election Epilogue

Election results

After an exciting election, it's time to congratulate the other candidates on running, and Myers11 in particular for winning. We had some great candidates, being all very active in writing articles, answering questions, participating in the debate, etc. With these awesome candidates around me, I picked a hard time to run!

I want to thank all that voted on me. Looking at the results I came in as "a good third", according to many articles. Being supported by two parties of (combined) "only" 42 members, and still collecting an amazing 47 votes, I feel that (some of) my ideas are really supported and therefore I'm looking to develop my ideas more. (Compare to Myers (members in supporting parties: 180, votes: 102) and Intenze (members: 152, votes: 76); which are obviously also good results.)

Word of thanks

Besides a huge thanks to the people voting for me, it's always tricky to single out people to thank, because you'll always forget some. However, I'm going to give it a shot and would like to thank:

AndreasIsaksson; for having the trust and even promising to come back if I would be elected. Additionally, this keeps up the faith for an "AI'tje"...
Daniel Parker and MarkusBell; for motivating me to run, sharing ideas, funding advertisements and all the other work they have done.
qmartijn and all the others at IP; for the nice comments and support during the elections
Dionysus and the ProgressNL members; for - unexpectedly - supporting me with ProgressNL. Support of a party means a lot, and especially when it's such an experienced player supporting my ideas!
Shakerr; for the great suggestions on the program I made
Mattio; for organizing the CP debate. Couldn't attend the whole debate, but it was awesome
Morrowind3; for doing good CP interviews in his first step in the media world of eRep... being newer in eRep, let's all help him out and SUBSCRIBE to his newspaper!)
All commenters on my articles; thanks for suggestions (special thanks to Antiko for the specific, constructive critism)
All the friends from eBelgium commenting on my articles; ThomasRED, Hugo Lilly, Olv007, and everybody else: thanks for the nice words! (oh, and Olv; as I didn't win, I hereby authorize you guys to invade us... just don't tell anybody I said this... 😛)

A word to my fellow candidates;
Myers11; Congratulations, it was an epic election, with you and Intenze staying close together in the "polls" all the time. I especially admire the articles you wrote during the campaigning, commenting on the programs of me and Intenze (in a constructive way!). You really took the time for it, and you've deserved your victory. You have done great work for UNL in the past, and I hope this will continue being CP now!
Intenze; Great fight for becoming CP. I appreciate your work in the UNL Military, and it's good to see that your ambition lays to get even higher in the UNL. Good luck in future endeavors!
Pierre Delvaux; Pierre, we've had a lot of contact, and I admire that you've run to let your ideas be seen to the eWorld, even although some people just seem to be unable to react constructively on them. Hope you won't give up hope on a social eUNL, where people respect each other. Remember: WP cannot do without you.

The future

It's always unsure what the future will bring, but I will keep to develop my ideas as initiated in my CP program. Some have been questioned and indeed need some fine-tuning. I am not yet sure how to implement them (propose to congress, run again for CP later, or whatever is best), but I'm sure any ideas can benefit someone. I encourage everybody else to come up with ideas too! Let's make UNL a place of free thinking, where ideas arise.

Let's move forward! LET'S BUILD UP THE UNL!
