Hello, my name is Betafoxtrot and I have been selected to run for Country President on the 5th of July ‘23!
For those of you who don’t know me, I am the current Minister of Education and have held previous positions up and down the board. My career in the eUK includes being the Minister of Home Affairs, Defence, Foreign Affairs and Vice President. At an international level I have served in Alliances, including having been the Deputy Secretary of Foreign Affairs of The World is Ours, whilst was the largest alliance in the world.
I mention that brief run down of my eCV to demonstrate my experience in all sorts of functions at all levels. I want to draw on this experience to make the eUK a better place!
I am writing today to ask you to help me carry on the good work being undertaken to rebuild the strong community spirit the eUK embodies. Something I learnt in the many Cabinet positions I have held is that a strong team is essential for effective Government. As such I am kick starting my CP campaign by asking for Cabinet applications! If you would like to assist a Foxtrot Gov then please get in touch and we can find you a role.
The Ministries I am looking to fill are:
- Minister of Defence
- Minister of Home Affairs
- Minister of Education
- Minister of Foreign Affairs
- Minister of Health
- Minister of Finance
- Minister of Communication
I encourage anyone from any party who has an interest in helping to apply.
Over the past few days you may have already received a PM from myself asking you what you think the eUK could do to improve. I thank those of you who have already responded, but if didn’t receive a messahe, or have missed the PM I would still like to hear your thoughts. This will help me make better choices for everyone as a whole. The key questions are:
In what areas do you think the eUK needs to improve?
What do you think the Government's top 3 priorities should be?
What specifically could the Government do to help you as an individual?
If you have an answer you would like to share, or would like to apply to the cabinet then please don’t hesitate to message me in game!

There is more to activity than blindly spending gold to rank up while fighting.
I prefer beta's style of activity where he actively tries to include the noobs and keep the meta alive!
Sure I’ve left, but I’ve come back now assisted in government and spent my time trying to help eUK citizens more than I’ve clicked the deploy button on the battlefield.
My level has neither prevented me participating in battles nor trying to improve the country, and I think as a community we should be valuing players of all levels and of all join dates and not only focusing on those who not left the game in 15 years.

Certa. With the same people in the same positions for too long comes stagnation, a lack of will to look and see if there are some things that could be done better or differently. No-one is saying Huey has done badly, just that once things become "business as usual" without challenges then it's time to change things up a little to stop the staleness setting in 🙂
Also, there comes a time when there are other capable people around who have never done the job who should be given that chance to prove themselves and get the medal!! It is a game after all, and it's not fair if one person hogs it!
Whilst I agree that it is unwise to become too dependant on one individual for administration of a Country, I do not agree that use of words like ‘stagnation’ and ‘staleness’ are really appropriate here.
I suggest that a strategy that leads to the short term replacement of our hugely competent CP - with him being effectively cast aside and replaced with a much less experienced candidate would be potentially disastrous for the eUK.
A much more sensible plan would be to work with the Huey administration in order to gain trust and knowledge of the complexities of our current national configuration in order to get to a position where a change of regime could be effected without major negative consequences.
Why are TUPKRP so afraid of someone else doing the job? What are you all hiding?
Not hiding anything at all. The risk is that without Huey's considerable energy and experience within the eUK Government there is a very real risk that much of the good work that has been gradually built up over the past year+ could evaporate very quickly.
What is it about Huey's excellent record that you are concerned with?
I'm not concerned with anything apart from a fresh set of eyes to concentrate on the stuff he misses - the most active person in the cabinet this month was the Minister of Education... betafoxtrot. He has that "new energy" from not having been in there for two freakin' years! And he even included Huey into the cabinet for continuity and recognition of his good job on the non-domestic side of things. It appears to me that the main thing influencing you is just pure old fashioned partisan politics - beta isn't TUPRKP so you hate him. Simple as that.
