[BC] Remarks from my time in the eUSA

Day 2,670, 10:23 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by BaronChris
Dear Friends,

After a short absence to have an eHoliday, sipping Long Island Iced Teas at my hotel on the West Coast of the eUSA, I am back home. Thoroughly enjoying the bonuses of the eUSA and the wages, not so much, I must say I have learnt a lot from the Americans in how they manage certain aspects of the country. I must thank my hosts (especially WookyJack) and also the immigration officials and Waynekerr, who only held me for a few days at customs for a few bags of dodgy beef jerky.

Immigration- a possible new system?
Firstly, I found the eUSA immigration system top notch. Once you apply, you must fill in a google document which ascertains how much you will benefit the eUSA and also whether you are a potential threat. As an outsider, I am unsure of what happens next, but if the eUK were to adopt such a process, then a weekly or biweekly survey (either through survey monkey or google) could be circulated to congressmen who could then vote yes or no on each citizen’s application.

An approved list would be posted for congressmen to then use their CS passes accordingly. I would assume that MoHA or an associate department would be involved in maintaining and running the regular polls. This would serve as an edition to the congress chat that already goes on, where people can vouch, or speak against applicants.

Party Politics- Very Productive, Very Organized.
With experience in a few parties in the eUSA whilst I was there, it seems that the top parties run the majority of their affairs off-site and in a forum. Of course, that would never work for us as a country. Aside from this, there are a number of different departments, from media to procurement, to retention, etc.

It would be interesting to see if more parties would develop a more complex party role system, although this all depends on how many active members in the party there are and want to help. The Federalist Party in the eUSA has three times the amount of members of the largest eUK party, TUP; and has a larger pool of players to draw from.

Now I’m Back…
I’m going to take a bit more of a media focuses approach, now I’m back. Two runs for President has exhausted me and I’ll be happy to contribute to the eUK in the side lines. I’d like to tender my support for Crispy Dragon in the upcoming UKPP PP election, as he has done an excellent job thus far and I think there’s still more to come from him.

Secondly, although perhaps not democratic, I’d urge citizens of the eUK to give the dictatorship a go. As I’ve realized, it doesn't matter who’s in charge, as long as it benefits the eUK and its citizens. I will be attempting to lobby Waynekerr for the reintroduction of the ambassadorial system that was last managed by MoFA a few months ago (perhaps FragUK or Fatalix…?). With a wealth of experienced and talented members, we would benefit from the system being reinvented and launched.

The introduction of regional directors of regions and then ambassadors to friendly nations at first, and then beyond that; would allow for strategic management of our foreign affairs. It would allow ambassadors to be the first step sounding board, instead of bogging down a MoFA with too many contacts. After all, an outwardly friendly and organized persona in our foreign relations will help protect and benefit us.
Kind Regards,

Baron Chris

P.S. Comments would be greatly appreciated for the mission.
