I promised that I would be clearing house and that is exactly what I have done. Unlike most of the past governments, I decided to change out almost everyone in place of someone fresh. Unfortunately this has ruffled some feathers as those long in power do enjoy holding on with an iron grip, but I do not back down from my choices. Below you will find many long standing and trustworthy patriots of Netherlands that I believe will bring us into a new beginning.

CP & VP: As in the past, Tonie and I will be on an equal footing. Any power that is vested in me as CP will be directly mandated and wielded by Tonie as well. This allows for us to make quick and concise decisions when time is of the essence. We will also be dipping our heads into all of the ministries. I will be working in every ministry to make sure things are getting done while Tonie will have a bit more emphasis on FA. As FA is our most important role this term, we will be pooling all of our connections to place Netherlands in the best possible position for the future.

😨MoD will be fairly the same as it has always been, with one exception. Expect to see new orders to fight for countries you may not have seen us fighting for in the past. Because we are looking to expand our allies, we will be directly relating this into our military orders.
MoFA: This is the big point of this term. Without good FA, we are doomed, and I’m not sure people realize our FA has not been up to shape compared to what it could be. I have done my best to work us into some new opportunities but it is extremely difficult because hardly anyone knows us or cares about us. I worked to get us into Orion, in conjunction with SKYJACKED, but that fell through. There is another alliance on the horizon called Nebula with Norway and a few others that we might be interested in checking out. There is also some other small alliances/pacts being created that we should look into. The point is we have A LOT of work to do and I am almost positive none of it will get accomplished if my opponent wins. My FA team consists of a multitude of players all with their own connections and skills to harness, so I am confident we can get something going.
MoF: Weirdstuffs will be managing the books. I will also be dipping my head in to see what has changed and what should or could be updated. I’m also considering setting Trannsvaal up as commune manager. He has done a fine job thus far and I see no reason to drop him.
MoHA & MoRC: I want both of these ministries working very closely this term. Immigration is a big problem in Netherlands, one that is constantly shuffled to the side and hardly anything gets accomplished. I want recruitment and immigration to play a big role in revitalizing our country before it falls into an even deeper pit of inactivity. I’m confident that with Spir Tus checking immigration status and with GEN DE LA REY and Gwom creating articles to recruit and coach, we will succeed.
Adviser: Klop is a good buddy of mine from Canada. He almost singlehandedly runs the country and he has managed previous alliances in the past, such as LETO. Canada is actually a hub of well-organized FA and I want Klop to teach us a thing or two about getting into a solid alliance and making solid friendships.
This really is the end of the line for me. I have placed the last of my will and determination for this country into my campaign. I really hope that enough people wake up and realize this is the path Netherlands needs to take. I know I can’t force anyone to do anything though, and if enough people choose to stick with the same old, then that is the mandate of the people. Vote for Revolution and you will see a new Netherlands!

I hope we won't get in any important battles, your whole MoD department doesn't come on irc which makes real time coordinating impossible. I also asked Walhalla but he said he didn't have time because he was wrapping up my thesis. I think MoD is clearly the weak point in your cabinet.

So basically you're saying that you will act like MoD if needed because your MoD doesn't have the time? Why appoint him then as your MoD? There are enough other good alternatives, people who do have time and are active on irc. Sounds like cronyism giving friends positions and titles
^ Not cool Fhaemita. Don't be ignorant and harsh for the show. There's indeed hardly a need for a MoD to be available at any given time in a time of lack of military activity (like we're in now) and IRC has never been a hefty requirement for ordinary government roles in general.
Walhallah has shown in the past to have a big feeling of responsibility. During our (real) wars with Norway I remember of him being available and communicative a good section of the day - both in-game and at IRC. The rest of the time - for example during night - war actions were done by other individuals, like me. Other people will act like MoD in a time of war, Fhaemita, as no one can be around for 24/7. Seeing you have AI as MoD exclusively I doubt there will be a MoD around during Dutch night times much. I'd like to turn the tables and ask you: ''So basically you're saying there will only be Military/Defense actions being taken when the MoD is there?''
You keep calling people who disagree with you ignorant, same as you did in congress thread. When there is no war there is hardly a need for a MoD but if something might happen you need a MoD who is active. No nobody can be active 24/7 but Walhalla has said to really not have time at all so if something would happen you would be without a MoD and others had to do his job and his deputy is also not active on irc. In my cabinet I have 3 people on MoD department, AI isn't exclusively in MoD department he has two deputies and all active on irc so if one can't be there others can take over. And no IRC generally isn't a requirement in government although in certain key position like MoFA and MoD it generally is. And I know Walhalla has been a responsible MoD but taking the job while not having the time to do it doesn't seem responsible to me.

MoD used to be 10 times more important than MoFA, we just took all the MoD responsabilities away because van Spijck appointed a lot of inactive utter retards to the position.
If you're going to discuss the larger scheme of things you should definitely have someone with extensive MoD knowledge present, and if you cut your own MoD out of that position, he just becomes a glorified article poster..

But its true I expressed my concerns. I will not be online 24/7. This will be covered by warm cooperation with our other experienced Defense staff.
As stated by others, we dont have a symbolic / dead vCP, so this should hardly be more of a problem by your party's standards.
Please drop the dead VP thing, it is quite different and it gets tedious that you guys keep brining it up because the rest of my term was impeccable.
Especially because the VP choices were mine and mine alone and have nothing to do with I&W as a party, no members have had influence on my cabinet picks.

A third question, how will you integrate your MoD team into what happens on irc? I don't think either of them uses it (frequently). Would that pose a problem, are you aware of it and have you created a solution for it yet?
A solid team though, I have no doubt they will perform well if you win.
Same place we were two years ago with little improvement on our alliance and allies situation. Do we even have FA updates anymore?
It died recently.
If I need them on irc, then I will ask them to be on. Otherwise myself or Tonie will do what is necessary and inform the MoD later. It's not that difficult, especially for a country and uninvolved and small as Netherlands.
I thought you wanted to make us less uninvolved and small, but it's a fair enough point indeed. I'm from the informal/subtle FA style, I believe it beats set in stone 'allies' and such nonsense. Look at the official treaties Norway had with Asteria and how much help that was.
We will see what the future brings, it'll be interesting.
