That’s right, you heard me! We’re bringing back the American Military Party!



For those of you who don’t know who I am, I used to be majorly involved in this game and the AMP a few years back. I won’t bore you by bragging about all I’ve done or the title’s I’ve held in this game, because that’s meaningless now. Suffice it to say I was around enough to know what’s important and how the game is played. Here’s my favorite things about this game, back when I started, and now:

But enough about me, I know you’re asking what’s this about this American Military Party? Back in the day it was a top 5 party all about integrating soldiers and people who are primarily interested in the military module into politics. It went through a rough patch with a political takeover, and has basically fallen from any kind of relevance, nothing more than a memory except for a select few old leaders who have been 2 clicking and maintaining the party. But no longer! Since my return a couple weeks ago, I have been communicating with past members and other returning players and I am happy to present to you a revAMPed party! Here’s a couple things we’re bringing back, both right away and in the near future:

Party Leadership

AMP has always operated with a round table of leadership. While there is a Party President that drives the direction of the party, everyone in leadership is considered an equal. We plan to maintain that, and I hope that this announcement will bring back players who are interested in helping us revitalize this party and connect with a once vibrant community!

Party President:

I will be returning as the party president, and leading the charge in an attempt to resurrect this beloved party.

Vice Party President:

Greeling

I think one thing that everyone can agree on is that this country needs more Greeling, and he will be returning in this role because I definitely do! He’ll make sure we don’t take things too seriously in this party

Chief of Staff:

John Killah


JK will be returning and brandishing the whip to help keep us on task. He has been a pillar of AMP forever, and a good friend of mine. He has also been maintaining the ingame party since its downfall.

Head Congress Critter:

Evry

If there is anyone who has been in congress longer, I don’t know who they are. Might be because I’ve been gone for a couple years, but Evry will be leading our congress delegation and be screening and putting forward our candidates each month (with round table input).

Retention:

Eric Vanderberg
Eric is another long time AMPer who has done a lot in retention in the past. He’s coming back on board to get us set up so it isn’t just a dead party, but has some interesting things going on!

Communications: ??????

This will be a joint effort until we get someone who is interested in writing! (Hint Hint AMP Job Application)


Education: ??????

This is one of the pillars of the AMP, and we will be working on providing intelligent in game military thinkers and leaders who can help coordinate and plan the eUS military actions. We plan on reaching out and coordinating with Military Units to put together some kind of Military Academy that can be used to educate everyone with aspirations from basic soldier, to government strategian.

Department of Veteran Affairs: ??????

A new program AMP is kicking off, effective immediately, coincides with two things I love. The first is the community, and it really is what drives this game. The second is RL military service members and veterans. As a service member myself, I love chatting with other vets/servicemembers. Something that is lacking in this game is a community for RL Military veterans. Almost every other game similar to this I’ve played, I’ve found a community for RL vets, but I haven’t here. That changes now. Regardless of if you are in AMP or not, we have already created a Discord channel in the AMP server that you are welcome to come check out. It’s a place to relax, talk about RL military, and maybe a place to merge the experience and leadership you bring from RL to erep. For now, I will be heading this up, until someone steps up to facilitate it!
