[Ambassador] Interview with eSerbian CP Strahinjic II

Day 2,392, 11:55 Published in Germany Croatia by Nathan Maximillian Stark

Greetings, esteemed readership.
In this issue of my newspapers I bring you yet another ambassadorial article (wow, I'm on a roll here). It's an interview with the newly (re)elected eSerbian president Strahinjic II. Enjoy! 🙂

1. Hi! Thank you for giving us a minute of your time! Could you tell us something about yourself in RL? How old are you and where are you from? What's your current occupation?
Hi everyone 🙂
I am 31 y.o. Serbian eRepublik player from Belgrade. I am an electric engineer, but currently unemployed. So I can be CP here, lol 😛

2. How and when did you find out about eRepublik?
I was asked over Facebook by one Serbian eRep player to register and I became immediately interested in the game, so I am here for about 5 years now...

3. What's your favourite aspect of the game?
I really like all aspects although I think that every aspect could be much much better. But I suppose that social aspect of the game is what makes people to stay here so long, so if I need to choose, that one would be it.

4. How much time daily do you spend on eRepublik?
.When I wasn't CP about an hour, maybe two. Now it goes to 6 hours, maybe sometimes even more :/

5. You’re already familiar with the duty of being a CP. Is being a CP of a nation like eSerbia hard?
It's the hardest position in the whole eWorld 🙂 There is no nation so internally divided as Serbia and keeping everyone's interests satisfied is very hard job to do.

6. Tell us something about the current political scene in eSerbia. Are there any major disagreements among the parties?
Yes, there are. As I have said, country is divided in many ways and parties are just one of the ways for divisions in Serbia. I don't remember time when government had more than 50% of congressmen.

7. What do you think, what is the biggest problem eSerbia is currently faced with?
Zero toleration to political opponents and excessive consumption in periods when there is absolutely no need to spend the money. We seem to be incapable to save the money for the period when it is really needed.

8. What’s your opinion on the new alliances? Do you think they will last long or meet the same fate of dissolving as their predecessors?
I am afraid that new alliances are not so firmly built up as some of the previous ones. Sirius is almost destroyed, after ONE and TWO it is hard to believe that there won't be THREE. If you know what I mean...

9. You’re a fairly experienced player, having played eRepublik since 2009. Which moment or event would you like to hightlight as your favourite?
My first CP mandate. I was only 3 months old player and I expanded Serbia out of our original borders, for the first time in e-history 🙂 The first "penetration" into Slavonia and erasing of eCroatia is something that was created by MoFA team that I was member of as well, and I remember that as the best eRep military operation that I had ever witnessed.

10. In your opinion, what was the best eRepublik alliance?
EDEN, because it lasted the most.

11. Who do you consider to be your best and most faithful allies?
Slovenia and Hungary, but lately I think that Argentina and Romania showed big level of friendship with Serbia as well.

12. Are there countries you could never be in an alliance with?
12. Croatia and Albania, for sure. Although we have decent communication with Croats, that can't be said for Albanians, both nations are not imaginable to be allied with.

13. What changes do you think should be implemented into eRepublik?
As the biggest problems I see multiple accounts. One euro per month is something that everyone can afford, and makes multiple accounts making much more expensive and practically unprofitable.

14. What do you think about eGermany?
To be honest, I don't know much about your e-country. I am sad because there are no more German players in the game because it would be much more interesting to play that way as your RL nation is famous for many clever minds and hard discipline.

15. Thank you for your time! Is there anything else you would like to say? Maybe a message to our readers?
I am very glad that you had picked me to make an interview with. I send much regards to eGerman population and I hope that you found out some new stuff about eSerbia from me 🙂

Once again, I'd like to thank Strahinjic II for his time and this interview. 🙂
