Day 2,218, 07:43 Published in Egypt Turkey by Medhat Alhaddad

Hello,

If you are reading this, then that means you have an aspiration to become a great eRepublik player. This guide will be focused to give advice to new accounts. If your account is old, I recommend you start over to maximize your success as a player. If starting over is not an option for you, this guide will be of use to you, but your results will not match those of a new player.

This guide will not be written to explain the basic fundamentals of the game. If that is what you are looking for, I recommend you read the tutorial
http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-1-2350821/1/20
http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-1-2350582/1/20
. It is an excellent guide that explains the basics. This guide will delve into the advanced techniques of eRepublik.

Chapter 0- Introduction

Chapter 1- Day 1

Chapter 2- Daily Routine

Chapter 3- Day 15

Chapter 4- BH Medals In Division 1

Chapter 5- BH Medals In Division 2

Chapter 6- BH Medals In Division 3+

Chapter 7- How to Make Gold

Chapter 1- Day 1

This chapter only applies to players who are only a few days old. If you are an older player, I recommend you restart. If you feel that is not an option, feel free to skip to Chapter 4.

If this is your first true day, follow the following steps in the exact order that I do. This will maximize your results on your first day. Feel free to use energy bars to complete this list. DO NOT use energy bars to do anything extra.

1. Join a MU (I recommend http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/group-show/463?page=1 if you are real Egyptian)

2. Train (Complete Mission)

3. Attain Rank of Private (Complete Mission)

4. Defeat 5 Enemies (Complete Mission)

5. Get a Job and Work (Complete Mission)

6. Complete Daily Task (Complete Mission)

7. Complete the mission for joining a MU.

8. Kill enough enemies to acquire full membership to MU. (Should be 2 or 3)

9. Acquire full membership (Complete Mission)

From this point on, whenever you fight, do your daily order. Use only Q6 weps

10. Become level 5 by fighting (Complete Mission)

11. Upgrade your Residence to Level 2 (Complete Mission)

12. Buy 10 Q1 Food and 5 Q6 Weps (Complete Mission)

13. Work in your Q1 Food Company (Complete Mission)

14. Reach level 10 by fighting

15. Build a weapons factory (Complete Mission)

16. Upgrade Residence to Level 3 (Complete Mission)

17. Recover Health/Complete Daily Order (Complete Mission)

18. Achieve Rank of Sergeant (Complete Mission)

19. Buy a Climbing Center (Training Ground) for 100 currency

At this point, you should have around 1k currency, 1 Gold, 1 Q1 Food Factory, 2 training grounds, 1 Q1 Wep Company, and a Q3 Residence. You are only 30 minutes old and you already have it better than a lot of players!

I recommend you call it a day and log out. You will find out why in the next chapter.

Chapter 2- Daily Routine

Until you reach 150 strength, you will be limited on what you can do. I recommend you follow the following routine until you are 15 days old. On day 2, complete any missions you have not yet completed.

1. Work/Train

When you train, use your “free” training center and your “.19 gold” training center.

2. Complete Daily Task

3. Complete Daily Order

4. Log out

*Follow this routine until you have 150 strength. It will take 15 days for the average player. External factors include but are not limited to temporary missions, added beginner missions, training upgrades, or any other changes made by the admins.

You may not agree with that routine, but you have to trust me. I did the exact opposite of this. I was getting 100+ kills every single day. Do you know what that did for me? It leveled me up quickly and got me True Patriot Medals. Getting a bunch of kills a day will do nothing but hurt you. Here is why:

1. You will leave division 1 faster. You want to stay in division 1 for as long as possible. When you are in division 1, you can win BH medals for 40k on average. When you are in Division 2, you can earn BH medals for 600k on average. See the difference? When you are under 150 strength, it is impossible to get BH medals, so why waste time, supplies, and experience points for nothing? Every experience point you earn puts you that much closer division 2.

2. Going for a bunch of kills to get a True Patriot medal is stupid. Getting True Patriot medals are inevitable. Once you start BH hunting, you will get 15 or maybe 20 gold from TP medals. Don’t strive for TP medals in your first couple of weeks because you will eventually earn them.

This is the routine you should follow until you achieve 150 strength. I know I sound like a broken record, but you don’t understand how vital it is that you save your experience points. I was a knucklehead and I got 75+ kills everyday, even before I had 150 strength. I had only two weeks to go BH hunting because I got bumped up to division 2. If I had another two or three weeks to got BH hunting, I would have gotten close to 100 BH medals.

Chapter 3- Day 15

If you have been following the daily routine, here is how your account should be looking:

- Level 22

- 154.5 Strength

- At least 15 bazookas (450,000 damage)

- At least 25 energy bars

Buy a rocket factory. It will cost you 10 gold. If you are a little short, wait until you level up to buy it.

I will discuss the method of BH hunting in Chapter 4. Do not use any bazookas or energy bars until you read chapter 4.

Chapter 4- BH medals in Div. 1

Congratulations! If you made it this far, I applaud you. You were patient and disciplined, and here is where it will all pay off.

Step 1- Find a Battle to fight in

I personally fight only for egypt I did this because I was feeling patriotic and I wanted to make a good name for myself. From a business standpoint, this was not a wise decision. I was forced to fork up an extra 50,000+ damage for a BH. I recommend you use the following method to hunt for BH medals.

Use CTRL + Click on the “FIGHT” button. I normally click on 5 at a time.

When you are viewing a battle, here are some things you should look for.

-Current Battle Heroes

If the current battle heroes have a large amount of damage, then don’t waste your time. You should look for the top damage to be below 60,000 damage.
Take a look at the top 5 players in a battle. If you see one who has a large number of BH medals and is online, prepare to fight for your medal. You may even want to back off and save your damage.
-Who Is Winning

Many people will tell you to fight for the losing side because 9 times out of 10, their battle hero has less damage. I ALWAYS fight for the winning side. When you and several other people are sniping BH medals for the losing side, the bar will shift and your chances of getting that medal are slim to none.
-Time left in battle

This is very important. It is because you want to deal all of your damage with less than 30 seconds on the clock. A lot of people do not know how to calculate the time left in a battle, so I will give you a quick tutorial.

For every minute a country controls the influence bar, it wins points. The amount of points it wins is dependant on how long the battle has lasted.

0-30 minutes into the battle, 10 points at every minute;
31-60 minutes into the battle, 20 points at every minute;
61-90 minutes into the battle; 30 points at every minute;
91-120 minutes into the battle, 60 points at every minute.

The first country to reach 1800 points wins.

If one country dominates the other for the entire battle, then the battle will end after 1 hour and 31 minutes. It is kind of easy to calculate the time left in a battle. It just requires a little basic algebra.

If you find a battle that seems reasonable, copy the link and paste it in notepad. Next to it, write the local time the battle should end. I normally subtract a few minutes so I can analyze everything. Here is an example of what one of mine might look like.

As you can see, it is organized so the battles that will end the soonest are at the top and the ones that will end the latest are at the bottom.

Here is how you win a BH medal:

Wait for when the time is right. Nothing sucks more than dropping 80,000 damage and not winning the BH medal because you didn’t play it smart. Only fight in battles where you are confident you will succeed.

Wait until there is one minute left in the battle. Double check to make sure that you are fighting for the winning side and that they are 60 seconds away from winning the battle.

Use Q7 Weps to deal a few thousand damage, if you can. When you do this, you give yourself an advantage over the competition. I will explain why in a minute.

Wait until there is 35-30 seconds in the battle. Refresh the page Make sure nobody ran up the BH damage. If they did, make a split second decision. Should I play it safe and dropout? Or, Should I take a chance and go for it anyway? I would recommend you play it safe.

I normally deal 20,00-30,000 more than the current battle hero with 20 seconds left in the battle. Use Bazookas and/or a rocket. Most people do this. That is why I told you to deal a couple thousand earlier. Imagine this:

The current BH has 60,000 damage.
Player X does 60,500 damage with a few seconds left
Player Y does 70,000 damage with a few seconds left
Player Z does 80,000 damage with a few seconds left
You do a 86,000 damage with a few seconds left.
As you can see, a few thousand damage made a huge difference. I won at least two dozen BH medals by small margins like this. I lost even more by small margins. Being conservative will do nothing but hurt you in this business. Every little bit helps, but don’t over do it.

Hopefully, if you were a little lucky, you would have gotten you first BH. Now that you are all excited, don’t make the same mistake I did. Don’t get all trigger happy and deal 100,000+ for medals. I did. Be patient, choose your battles wisely.

Chapter 5- BH Medals In Division 2

Now that you are in division 2, you will have to work harder for BH medals. I recommend you follow the same daily routine I mentioned earlier until you reach level 29. Once you get to level 29, follow the same method I showed you in chapter 4.

Chapter 6- BH Medals In Division 3+

Now that you are in division 3, bazookas will become less and less important to you. By now, you may be dealing more that 10,000 damage per hit. I cannot offer much advice to those in divisions 3 and 4 because I have never been there before. All I know is opportunities to earn BH medals are rare to come by, so take advantage of what you can.

Chapter 7- How to Make Gold

Whenever I spend gold in eRep, I make sure I will make a return on my investment. Here are some examples of investments I have made.

Training Grounds

I upgraded my Weight Room to Level 2 when there was a 44% discount. I believe it cost me 12 gold to upgrade it.

When I had two Q1 Training Grounds, I was earning a supersolider medal every 27 days. Now that I have a Q2 Training Ground and a Q1, I’m earning a supersolider medal every 18 days. That means that every 18 days I will be earning 5 gold. I will make a profit off of my 12 gold investment after 54 days.

I then upgraded my Q2 to a Q3 then my Q1 to a Q2. I was getting 5 gold every 11 days. Not bad in my opinion.

Rocket Boosters

I remember awhile back I bought 10 20,000 damage rocket boosters for 11.2 gold. Each one had 3 uses, so I bought 600,000 extra damage. I told myself that if I was disciplined and I only used 40,000 extra damage per battle from my boosters, I would earn an extra 15 BH medals. From those 15 BH medals, I would earn 30 gold. That comes out to an 18.8 gold profit. This does not include the bazookas I saved myself from using. I saved myself 20 bazookas. Those 20 bazookas went to earn me an additional 7 or 8 BH medals, 16 gold. My new profit turned into 34.8 gold.

Whenever Plato releases deals like this, do some calculations to see if you can make a profit. Little things like this here and there not only increase your wealth, but also increase your fame. The more BH medals you have, the more revered you will be.

Rockets

A rocket building will cost you 10 gold. It will also cost you 1 gold . When ever you drop a rocket in a battle, make sure you win the BH. If not, you not only wasted 1 gold, but you also wasted your rocket for the day. You can only have 1 per day.

Since each BH you earn gives you 2 gold, you should start making a profit after 7 days. After that, you make a 1 gold profit for every BH you earn. Not bad at all.

These are a few ways I made my wealth. Whenever you see an opportunity, take a calculated risk. Don’t be afraid. I knew that it would be difficult to only use 40,000 extra damage for each battle. I knew that if I went over, my profits would decrease. I told myself that in a worst case scenario, I would use an extra 80,000 damage in each battle and I would only earn 7 BH medals. Hell, in an absolute worst case scenario, I still get 7 BH medals and a profit. When you are making your calculations, look at the best and worst case scenarios.
